Rusthall will be looking to bounce back from a poor showing at the weekend and get their playoff push back on track.
The Rustics fell to an industrious performance from a very direct Hollands & Blair this weekend and Jimmy Anderson will be motivating the lads for a positive reaction and better performance against Stansfeld.
Sitting 18th in the league table doesn't represent how much of a test for Rusthall this will be- as we have seen first-hand this season in the FA Vase and in the away league fixture, Stansfeld will offer a stern test for the Rustics.
Stansfeld can consider themselves very unlucky this season as they have been close to recording some great results. It took late goals from Whitstable on two occasions to avoid defeat and they also conceded late to Tunbridge Wells in their last match to lose that game. With better fortune, they may not be in the relegation zone.
Stansfeld will offer a direct and robust approach to their game and with Glen Bain scoring 3 goals in his last 3 appearances, the Rustics will need to be wary of his threat.
Whilst this will be no pushover, the Rustics will feel they have enough class and power to overcome the Stansfeld challenge and with an undefeated league home record to protect the boys will be giving it their all to keep it that way.
It's not all doom and gloom for the Rustics after this weekend, still sitting in 3rd with plenty of games in hand to make 2nd position their own, 2 semi-final's on the horizon. This could be the greatest season yet!
