The schedule doesn't stop, as we continue to play catch up on games lost to bad weather, Tuesday night sees the Rustics welcome Stansfeld to Jockey Farm.

Rooted to the bottom of the table Stansfeld arrive having picked up 1 point in their last 6 games, which was a credible draw at home to Playoff contenders and defeated cup finalists Bearsted at the weekend. They took a 2-0 lead thanks to Nana Kufour but were unable to hold on for the three points in the end with Bearsted fighting back to earn a 2-2 draw.

Rusthall come into this game having not lost in their last 6 games. Those games include a draw vs the league champions, a cup final win and the bragging rights of a local derby.

The reverse of this fixture was a lot tighter than the 1-3 scoreline indicated. Stansfeld are probably one of the most industrious and direct teams in the league and always give us a tough game. But this game is at Jockey Farm, under the lights vs a team who have only lost 1 game at home all season and have the best points per game average at home in the league.

Recent performances have been bright from the Rustics, the boys have had to dig deep to get some results and they have enjoyed the rewards of their efforts having won the last 3 games.

Simply put, a win will see the Rustics move up into 4th and join Larkfield and Bearsted on 59 points. It will also end Phoenix and Sutton's hopes of a play off spot. And if Whitstable beat Hollands and Blair on Tuesday night and we win, Hollands and Blair's play off push will be over.
