It's a super playoff contender's weekend this Saturday. Going into the weekend in 5th place we host 4th placed Bearsted, up the road, 3rd placed Larkfield host 2nd placed Fisher!

Both teams meet after dropping points to Stansfeld in their last league games, not ideal form in the race for playoff positions.

Simply put, this is like another cup final between the 2 sides and with Punjab lurking behind us both making a late surge towards the play offs neither team can afford to lose this game.

Jimmy will be looking for a better performance from his team on Saturday, a performance reminiscent of the cup final showing from earlier in the month would be the perfect tonic.

A win for the Rustics will lift them up to 4th, a loss would leave us in 5th for now but 6 points behind Bearsted with 6 points to play for and Punjab lurking in the shadows behind us on the same points but with a game in hand.

This could potentially be the last home game for Rusthall this season so we need to ensure that the stadium is packed as we cheer the lads on.

To help get the Rustic fans in a buoyant mood the clubhouse will be running a happy hour from 1-2pm where pints and singles with mixer will be served at the discounted rate of £3.50.
